Nonsmooth Newton method for solving symmetrical tensor absolute value equations

Abstract:

In this paper, we propose a kind of  symmetrical tensor absolute value equations. And a kind of nonsmooth Newton method is also proposed. Under mild assumption, the local convergence of the method is given. Finally, numerical results indicate the efficiency of the method.
